Rose

This piece presents a near low-angle view of the mountain's surface. I wanted to slowly zoom in and emphasize the textures of the rocks and the lines forming the grass here. This piece is particularly interesting to me as it reveals a glimpse of the various types of rocks and what lies beneath. I also incorporated lines that represent the cross-sections of a mountain, illustrating how they intersect with each other in a seemingly unorganized organized kind of way. 'TKHV' denotes seriate porphyritic granite, and 'KHV' represents hidalgo volcanics. Mountain depths are also included in the piece.
